We have vast experience in carrying out all kinds of property surveys and valuations for private clients and businesses and offer a full range of surveying services.  The department is headed by Robert Jones and Mark Richardson, both vastly experienced Chartered Surveyors who can carry out surveys on most types of property throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire (central midlands district).

We are totally committed to giving you the best possible advice for peace of mind when buying any property.  There are two types of survey which we specialise in.

Written Valuation

As the name implies, this is a basic valuation report intended to ensure the purchase price of the property is satisfactory. It is not a survey.

RICS Homebuyer Report

This is a detailed report in an economical package intended for all types of houses. It focuses on essential defects and problems which are urgent or significant and may have an effect on the property. An early diagnosis of a problem may well enable you to re-negotiate your purchase price taking into account the defect discovered and its cost to put it right.

Specialist Valuations

We also undertake specialist valuations for purposes such as matrimonial division, probate, capital gains tax and expert witness work such as for professional negligence claims.  

What to do next

If you want a quote or need to instruct us to carry out a survey simply call or email us and we will be happy to act on your behalf. We will keep you fully updated as we inspect your next home and prepare your survey. The survey can be made available in a number of formats on paper or email. To get things moving for you quickly we can accept payment by taking card details over the telephone, bank transfer or cheque.
