Or, in the case of this photo, when one sun sets, another gate opens! Hazelwood at sunset is a wonderful place to be.
We dug in and made the most of a rather lethargic October property market, cooled further by an even more lethargic Budget that did nothing to help!
We did however, have a tenant ask when “WE” would be paying their £100 winter fuel payment…
“We would if we could, sir!”
So, what else has happened?
We’ve welcomed a new Property Manager, Dylan Vernon — an experienced and very smart young man who insists on wearing a suit and tie. A sure fire way to impress Chris Birds
I’ve had a visit from an undertaker, we’ve discovered a homeless man living in an outhouse, we’ve had a tenant buy a house from a landlord, a landlord buy a house from a tenant, new instructions, sales, auction sales, fall-throughs, re-sales and some decent exchanges — including one transaction that managed to drag its feet for an entire year!
Through it all, we’ve bravely fronted up to every matter, scary as some of them were and it’s not even Halloween yet!
So, as October draws to a close, we’ll raise a glass to surviving another month in the wonderful world of property.
Have a great weekend and we’ll see you next month.
I’m not sure I’ve ever been quite so excited for November!
